2. basically, if you want.. u can just run the games off of Evox dash, in order to play live games, u do not need to boot up on ms dash.  And you can go back to the ms dash on evox, i believe the first highlighted menu?

I don't own an matrix, so i'm not totally sure on this, but if you upgraded ur HD, then setting it to mode 3 would make it flashing red and green when you use the eject trick.  But if you didn't change the HD, then no it still doesn't change the fact that your original xboxdash.xbe isn't there... so you'll need to go back to Answer 1.
