Will In Game Reset Work With Matrix?

I recieved some interesting information from someone in the know.  There are ways to go around the 256k limit that the matrix has.  This is exciting info for us with a matrix.

                                    The way it was explained to me is that the bios will look for a file on the hard drive that will act as the actual bios.  I believe there will be some info coming from the source very soon on this feature.

Well if anyone was reading the news from the X2 Team they already said that sorta.

What do you there there referance to the kernel.ini file on the HDD was about.

As I said before there is prolly some basic loader bios that will go on the chip, you know just enough to load the XBox so it can look for the bios/kernel.ini then load the system.

Guess time will tell.

Load critical BIOS data then get the special features from the INI

yeah duff, that's the same technique used in Xbox-Linux for Cromwell, the newest version.

                                    Well, even thought it in't revolutionary it's still good news for those of us that have a matrix, and won't have to buy a new chip to use the1MB bios.  Like I said before there should be a new version of a bios (I don't know the specifics yet) that will have this feature coming out soon.
