Bios For Matrix Mod Chip

You will need a bios to load like evox2.5.

My advice to you is to look around these forums for a while and check out the tutorials section: http://www.xbox-scen...m/tutorials.php

There is also a better flashing program than wmilk.exe, it is on the matrix main website.

A better flashing program?  What is it called?  What is the main site for the matrix mod chip?  I think I was on it but I can't find the flashing program.

Is the wmilk the actual program...similar to evox 2.5?

Thanks,
DEMARAD

Here is the Matrix official site:
http://www.xodus-chip.com/
Go to the 'Downloads' section to find the new flashing program (windows based)

Wmilk is only a program that will flash the chip with a bios (put the bios onto the chip)  You still need a bios like evox2.5

There is even more, you will probally want to (but don't have to) install evolution-x on your Xbox's hard drive which will make buying a matrix (or any other mod chip) much more worthwhile.

You can get all this information by looking around these forums for a while and check out the tutorials section.

When I use the winlpc.exe file, I just double click and follow instructions?

Do you have a bios yet (evox2.5)?

There are full instructions on the MATRIX website and there is a downloadable version on the EasyBuy site . Follow those instructions and you should be good to go .

Ok, I found the manual to install the chip.  I have the wmilk file.  I guess that loads the bios on the chip.

I followed the instructions above and went to the xodus-chip.com site and found a download file called WinLPC.exe.  Is this the evox 2.5.

No, you are looking for a file called evox25.bin  that is your bios.  The WinLPC.exe will only put evox25.bin on the chip.
