Has Anyone..(matrix)

Doesn't matter what settings the dipswitches are set at when flashing from the programmer.
Mode 4 is when you want to re-flash when it's in the Xbox already, and using a CDRW or DVDr.
Might be a bad bios, or could be a ybox issue.
What bios .bin did you use, what is the name of it?

I have heard several people complain about the Evo-X [unofficial] 2.5 bios  , try the official 2.4 and see if it works for you .

I have a matrix,I also have Evox 2.5. That shouldn't be your problem.
What I do think is your problem is that your chip is not properly aligned.
Matrix *does* turn green sometimes when it's not really activated and properly aligned.
So 1. Try realigning your matrix. Looking from straight above with a strong light.
When you install the matrix ,press on the pogo pins quite hard while screwing in so that the chip is as horizontal to the mobo as possible.

Or if that doesn't work.

Try if your bios is correctly flashed with the winLPC program's verify function or/and flash the chip again.

"tip" put some pressure on the lone pogo pin as well when installing ,helped me a lot.
