                                    thanx for the replies.. well what i actually did was getting my matrix out of the package.. program it with ybox bios and install chip in my x-box but now  i get the dashboard error. Because the matrix is my very first chip i completely forgot to first flash the matrix with a normal bios (evox) and then start from that bios with evo x cd and copy the ybox or rename the dash file.so i just forgot to do this. But now i can't but any cd's
because when the error comes up it stays that way. error 13. PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I WAS FUCKING WITH THE DAMN CHIP ALL NIGHT AND KNOW I GOT FROM WORK AND WAS ABLE TO INSTALL IT IN HALF AN HOUR :s

you dont' need to reflash ur chip, you just need a bootdisc, a bootdisc with default.xbe will work from the dvd.

It should be fine to use a ybox bios from the start right? Just use the CDR boot disk to rename it and your AOK right?
