Matrix Won't Boot Evox Cd

It is simple, your XBOX cannot read this CDR/RW, tried another brands. or use PC DVD.

Put some audio on the cdrw to check that this box can read the media.  Also, eject and compare the tray on the dvd drives - different brands have different shapes/patterns.

You should NOT rename default.xbe when burning a evox-cdrw!!!
It MUST be named default.xbe in order to be loaded at startup.
When you have loaded evox from the cdrw you should transfer the deafult.xbe by ftp to the C: drive of the xbox and THAT file should be renamed to evoxdash.xbe or yboxdash.xbe or whatever depending on which bios you have.

simply put: When booting evox first time off a cdrw the dashboard must be named default.xbe as that is the filename looked for when inserting a cdrw/dvd...
