Well I have had no problems with flashing it myself.

Check your bios, it might be corrupt - download another one.
Use the winlpc program on thier website.
Verify it once you have programmed it.
Try another computer if it doesn't let you flash it.

Always the hardware, never the user.. Somehow the hundreds of posts from successful users is just a scam.

I have a matrix and windows XP professional
My flash failed once and only once, the first time before I went and adjusted the lpt port setting. No All I have to do is put the chip on the programmer (battery installed already) and then put the programer on the lpt port. I use wmilk with the command line the instructions specify and I havent had a problem since.
