You cant run unsigned code with the orig bios...

but if the evoX is renamed to xboxdash  then the xbox original bios is goona boot to evoX, yes?

dont say no unless you tried it.

well I'm going to have to retract my last statement as memory alocation for the evox dash is not possible with the original bios.  The system will not boot the evox dash with the original bios period.

you have the matrix chip magnus? any good worth buying?

i gotta buy a bios replacement chip cus i fucked mine up, i was thinking of this (suggested up) cant see why it wont work. would you try it for me? try running evox offer your hd with your matrix chip taken out?

if so i rekon you can flash the onboard tsop using the matrix chip.

well try this, boot to evox with matrix in, once booted, remove matrix (unscrew and take out) see what happens, if the xbox locks up etc, it cant be done if it don't then..........

No one's also mentioning that if your running a non-original HD if won't be recognised by the original MS bios.
