Sorry, there is currently no 256K BIOS that allows you to debug executables.

Speeking as someone who uses the SDK, I can confidently say that you do not NEED the dev bios to create and test games.  All compilation occurs on the PC then your files are transferred via ftp to the xbox and can be run there.  The advantage of the dev bios is frame rate displays and additional memory info for "debugging."  This is not a necessity if you create your games in directx for pc, run your memory leak tests and frame rate checks then use the SDK to port it to xbox.  Like I said, it's not needed but is nice to have.

Maybe replace the flash memory on the modchip? (on't know if that is possible but just makign a suggestion)
