Installing A Xodus/matrix To Replace Homebrew

Hey everyone,

I just had a couple of questions to those that may have purchased a Matrix chip to replace their homebrews.  I had a friend of mine solder my homebrew chip that I purchased from premodded.com months ago, which came with the socket and external switch for returning to the original bios.

I just wanted to know that if I purchased a Matrix chip, would I have to remove the homebrew all together, or is there anyway to install the Matrix and disable the homebrew?
