In my haste I connected the chipp to the programmer incorrectly and in a puff of smoke on th programmer the red light is now ORANGE?

Ok so I'm the first to fuck this up but if there is someone in Toronto that would let me come by to program this thing
(I'm buying one for my friend so I'll have access to one later)

i am starting to think that this idiot is trying to bad mouth the chip..

there is only 1 way to connect the chip
no way u can do it wrong

he blew up his programmer, not the modchip..

Notice the connection of the modchip to the programmer; it's just a ribbon cable. You can easily mix up pin1.

Obiwan you maybe right.

I just looked at the pictures from x-s home page and it looks like you can't mount the chip incorrectly. It looks like the battery case would be in the way.

Maybe I'm wrong?
