Quick questions:

wmilk -c -a ffc00000 -v -p evox25.bin

Are those Dashes or spaces in that command?
And How will I know I have it flashed successfully?
What does wmilk do or read when its done?

Keep in mind that this is an alternative to flashing the BIOS until Xodus releases the official flashing software.

?1 = dashes

wmilk is a dos utility to program chips through the printer port.

if the flash takes and is varified you will receive a message stating that it is complete.  if it fails then you will receive the following message

S:\XBOX - Extras\Matrix Chip>wmilk -c -a ffc00000 -v -p 256k.evox2.4.bin
Milksop GPL Reflasher - 0.10 - ©2002 [email protected]

CHEAPLPC on printer port at 0x378
LPC bus error - peripheral returned SYNC=0F
error getting device ID at address FFC00000
Device not supported

I even received a message that erased the chip and started flashing it but died two steps into programming.

trying to flash a MATRIX chip here.  I followed the procedure mentioned above.

I get this error message:

cheaplpc on printer port at 0x378
lpc bus error - peripheral returned sync=0
error getting device id at address ffc00000
device not supported

The first time I tried it did start to do something - I clicked on an 'ok' box and got an error message.  Now, all I get is the above error message.  I tried 2 machines - 1 w/ XP and 1 w/ ME.

How do I reset it?  Do I need to?  I removed the battery for a few but it didn't seem to do anything - same error message.
