I don't quite understand what you are saying but I will try.

First of all, you cannot run unsigned code while running in the original M$ bios. An 'edited' bios is what gives you the ability to do that. As far as the reason behinf the Mode to switch between the two; it's a very smart way of, essentially, bringing your box to the way it was day 1. Now obviously if you swap the HDD out you wont be able to do that, but I plan on following the External Swappable HDD tutorial that was posted on X-S.com so I can swap between the original HDD and my 80GB. I hope this came close to answering your question.

what i mean is u boot up the game use some sort of eject trick so when u eject the game stays booted than it will go to ms bios u put the game back in u dont need to reboot the xbox its already booted the game it would carry on playing i dont know alot about eject trick but the bios gos from evo to ms when u eject so what if u keep the game booted when u eject u wouldint neen to boot in ms its already booted but your xbox would be on ms bios when u play the game like say on xblive u c

as i said i dont now how ectect trick works but if u can keep the game booted and matrix can swap bios with the eject trick on i would be worth a go

boot game, change to original bios, play xlive. That was my idea but since you ar ethe 1st person i hear saying that besides me all this time, i think its not possible or something.

oo but eject trick doseint reboot bios and i think u need to reboot to go back to old bios maybe if u use eject trick it wont swap bios u would need to reboot i dont now for sure as i said i dont use eject trick

nooope, u disconnect mod completely, and how the hell is gonna MS find u have a chip?, when it search for nbios it finds bios 4022 (or whatever) thats all. U only want MS not to see you ahve a bios when the check comes. That is if MS will ever detect modchips.

the manual sais to run in MS mode u just put a game in and press eject

whats not to understand

Xbox live for e.g (put a game disc in boot it, and press eject)

then put the Xbox live cd in. !!! right?

obiwan your right but than u would be on live but cant use your dvdrs because u turned mod off
