no, because u can screw it to the mobo with a screw (u do this originally) as hard as u want, and i dont think it will move, if it will, then put some silicon on it.

                                    Don't take advice from people that know just as much about it as you do. No one really knows for sure if the contacts could be knocked loose. What are you people doing in the first place with your xbox to even consider that a problem? Granted, if you play Hot Potato with your Xbox it may shake loose....


jared, I really don't think you will need glue or any extra type of support for the chip. I'm sure a solid contact with the board was on the top of their check list. I ordered mine and I am looking very foward to seeing these new features they speak of.

the supplied spacer maked it stronger! look at the manual

The supplied spacer isn't for strength, its for raising the unit off the board to make the connection more level.
