my guess is that there will be some stands to make it stable, with pointy lpc points a bit higher than the stands to make slight carvings in the MB lpc points when the screw is in place...

but do you think there will only be those spring loaded pogo pins, if yes, will that be stable enough to screw it in place? or will there be some cylinder around the screw serving as a stand for more stability?

I must add something...

what happens when you screw it? the chip does some 360's untill it digs in place?

what about something that prevent it from rotating while screwing it down to the MB (like a doorstopper), maybe using existing components on the mb but thats just an idea

of course! why hadn't I thought about it!

It all depends on how the bottom is made because with only pogo pins good luck screwing it in place holding it with your hand and make a perfectly flat contact between the pin heads and the MB solder points..
