Well, it does say that it has "All bios features currently available on competing "mods" (can use any bios)" and is "flash upgradeable", that would mean backups would most definitely work.

What really pisses me off is now those who have been waiting may have to wait three more weeks to find out that this may or may not pan out.  I think I still may just go with the OpenBoxx and not keep myself from playing games.  Easybuy also has a bad track record when it comes to their ETAs.  September 21st seems like a bullshit date considering the fact that nobody has seen any proof or discussion on how the no-solder chip will be implemented (I am guessing a LPC clip/header type of item).

This is similiar to my thread.  I e-mailed them and asked directly about backups, home brew software and macrovision.   According to their site, I should get an answer tomorrow

they just keep delaying their chips and the truth about whats goin on.
