I think the most commonly used chips (at least as far as I know) are 256 kb SST 49LF020 chips. You can sometimes find them on ebay, or sometimes on old electronics. If you are just trying to put a modchip into your xbox just buy a Duo X2 from litspliff or do a TSOP flash. It will be cheaper and way easier!
