The hard drive is death so I tried to install the cheapmod and already rebuilt the LPC but I couldn't get its working. I am afraid its version 1.5

If anyone has the same MFG date, can you let me know what version you have.

I have a Crystal 2004-09-02, serial 2xxxxxx 43605 that's a 1.6 - an earlier date, but from a different factory, so probably inconclusive.

According to this "1.4-1.5 Focus Video Encoder. 1.5 had additional rebuild points missing in the LPC header, if no continuity from pin 2 and ground it is a 1.5"

So if you have a Focus video chip and LPC pin 2 isn't connected (to ground?) then it's a 1.5.......
If you have an Xcalibur video chip then it's a 1.6.

Because I got the same PS connector for 1.6 and Xcalibur chip.

Let me rework all the LPC pins. Already programmed my cheapmod M8_16 bios
