My X-box is v1.4 and I have just installed the Aladdin XT 64 modchip.

My problem is that I've downloaded a couple of games and they do no play.  I get the following error messages after the initial X-box start-up screen:

"Invalid game region"
or
"Invalid media type"

I downloaded ISO files from torrent sites for these games and burnt them onto Verbatim DVD-R 16X discs.  Not sure if the disc makes a difference.

I think the chip works correctly but can't be sure.  When I power on the X-box and hold the power light turns to orange as it's suppose to.

Normal shop bought games work with both the chip on and off.  

Any suggestions please??

OK, you have downloaded a game from the wrong region. If you know the difference between the PAL format and the NTSC format then you will know exactly what I'm talking about, if your clueless to what I'm talking about, do a search on the internet and learn about it (it will do you good). If you are in America or Canada or anywhere near there, download games for NTSC consoles. If you are in Europe, download games for a PAL Console.
