I Ripped A Pulse Chip And Need To Flash It
« on: February 18, 2006, 11:52:00 AM »

I'm not going to go buy a modchip, but need to put in a new harddrive, so I ripped a bios chip from my old computer and was wondering if it could possibly hold a bios for my xbox, and how would I flash it?

Put it back in the motherboard obviously boot it into dos and use uniflash to flash the Xbox bios to the chip. But remember it matters what brand/model flashrom chip it is and has to be 120ns or lower.

PS A little hint have a backup of your existing chip handy with the current PC bios on it just so you can reflash your xbox chip for future upgrades (and also if you fuxor something).
