Xbox Freezing

the xbox v1.0 has a fan just for the GPU. it fits over the heatsink
you could see if you could buy that part.

some dashboards tell you the temp. of the system.
my xbox never goes above 60degrees C

Yeah think I will try that..I have a 1.0 laying around that I can use for parts right now.  Took off the heatsink on the CPU too and the thermal paste is basically gone as expected, however I wont try fixing that as it isnt getting that hot.  CPU temp is steady at around 36 Celsius
