The problem will most likely occur again.
The fact it worked is nothing to do with connecting it to your laptop with a patch cable (The pc will not even communicate with the box).
M8 bios does skip the clock check so this has nothing to do with the clock check either.
If its Frag and its intermittent the installer has a bad connection on the LPC somewhere.

Try holding the power button in for a couple of seconds you you turn it on  biggrin.gif
