Sounds like the plane ride jarred things loose.  I don't suppose you have a soldering iron on your trip to fix it?  We would also need to know what chip you have to tell you where the wire goes.

I would definitely advise to use the connections on the bottom of the motherboard - ALT BT or ALT L1, which ever has come loose.

Well im not sure about my soldering skills. if that is the chip power wire, is there no other way to get the chip to come on? and the wire is short so i dont think it can reach the bottom of the motherboard
