Solder a link wire from  BT to L1 on the chip and try flashing again with the HackDaBox Reflash Cd.

when I dumped the bios it was 1mb.

Evox does that.
the correct bios size for this is 256K.
Hacks disc will sort it.

If you have a BT wire coming from the motherboard to the chip, take this off also.  If your trying to boot without the chip.

Reading your first post again, it sounds like the chip was booting fine consecutivly.  Did the physical install change in anyway from the time you were trying to flash till now?  Did you drop any solder or bridge an area by mistake?  You mentioned Config Magic, were you using this at all? Do you think you wiped or corrupted your eeprom?

If the box does not boot with the normal MS bios now, then you have done some damage during the install. You need to find and repair that before you worry about the chip again.
Also in re-reading you have screwed the eeprom if you used config magic.
The eeprom is nothing to do with the chips flashrom.
You need a way to reflash the eeprom now first

OK this is not my usual answer but i would now remove the chip. And order a duox2 but request from the supplier that it needs to be flashed with Flashbios Unauthorised ( both versions ) on both banks !

As this is what you will now need to fix your console. Maybe one of hippos chips would work but he would know better what he flashes on his !

You need to boot a special bios that boots on a console with a screwed eeprom !

duox2 resellers if you can flash a chip with flashbios unauth (301 on bank0 , 303 on bank1 ) then please let us know. this is how i beleive they should ship the duox2's as http flashing is available for everyone and if you get a blank screen you just flick the switch ! and you would never need eurasia or even a BIOS DISC if you have a active network !

You are mixing up flashroms with eeproms.
the eeprom is on the xbox mobo itself.
Whenever you  use config magic it  writes to the xbox eeprom.
Configmagic is nothing to do with flahsing a bios to a chip and should never be used for doing that.

You are misinformed again.
The problems reported with nearly all chips of all types tend to be 99 percent user/installation error. The chip of course takes the blame.
I have 1 DuoX2 remaining from a total of 500 chips (This includes the first Duo as well) Not one faulty chip at all none.

First off hows come I cant EDIT my posts anymore? anywho

Ive goten ahold of flashbios 3.0.3 and 3.0.1.  Im not sure im clear on how to do this...

So far what Ive gathered is I install this image.bin using flashbios to my aladdin chip.. then I just power on and rewrite the xbox's eeprom? Will my video work or will I have to do it blind?
