That's wiered that it suddenly won't tell you what bios is loaded into memory AFTER it's loaded into memory...

I'd try flashing m8 plus onto your chip. I find it fixes most problems with freezing. Just another potential problem.

But yeah - I'd agree with this guys - if it's an intermittent problem then it's likely soldering.

Normally if you have the correct hash in the evox.ini the bios will be known. It could be known on one boot disk and not the other, depending on the ini.

Well thats true hippo but i believe this on evox from the hard drive with no changes. The only way to prove this is to grab a sunday chip and do not connect up one lpc pin and test. Then test again with a different pin missing and you will find the pin i am talking about. When you find the pin i am on about you will notice the dashboard loads but no other apps will boot ( it will freeze ).

actually next time i solder ill take a good pic

i relised my problem i think
last time i soldered just that top left point that looked dodgy (it worked for a while then didnt)

this time i didnt solder that point but soldered most of the others i thought i wouldnt have to coz that one would br right coz i did it last time

so i think that is the point that i have to solder

so when i got the time ill solder it and take a photo and send it to you
