You are rstricted to the M8.16 or M8+.16 on these with your box but try get the latest M8+.16 with LBA48 as I believe it has the IGR fixed. I f your chip has the newer CPLD code you should be ok with this but if its a good few months old you may have random boots no video with the M8+.16 on this chip.
It will not cure the DDE by the way thats down to the DVD drive

If the flash Rom is an SST49LF020A then you can't flash it with XFlash you need Sunday Flash or flash it through evoxdash. depending on which XT you have you either ground BT to enable the flash or connect BT to L1 while you flash it.

With an aladdin xt lite (4032) you don't need to do anything with bt. Just use Gentoox Loader V5.7 (loader.xbe) or Sunday Flash. Both programs work excellent and no lines need to be aded for them to work on 49lf020a SST chips.

The temperature is too high. Make sure the fan is connected after modding and that there is sufficient ventilation. If UnleashX is your main dash, you can use it to increase the fan speed to aid the air flow.

could i get some more help please. i flashed with gentoox loader into M8+.16 bios what i got from xbins. evox shows me now bios unknown and i still dont see G drive ( i have it enabled in evox) do i need to format my drive again with slayers for example?

That would explain the high temps. The case aids the cooling, it directs the airflow
The bios reads unknown because you  need to add the correct line to the evox ini. Scroll down the ini on the Xbox looking for the id that says current. Copy this line and add whatever name you want for the bios into it (look at the other lines and the formatting is obvious) insert this line into the section with the other Ids and thats sorted.
Make sure your drive is formatted to have Partition 6 & 7 (F+G) and your bios is edited to support the g drive and not just partition 6 which will give you all the space on F.

ok i dont know why nobody else said this...  but those temps are fine...   because they are wrong - 1.6s dont report temperatures correctly as of yet. So dont worry...   if your machine was actually that hot - you'd notice lol

and as for the problem you're having with the bios - you may want to try Yoshihiro-m8-1.6B-Memory-Fixe-Beta4.bin
available off xbins in the xbox/bios/evolutionx/1.6/_unofficial folder - or something to that effect.

I think when the xbox temp hits 70o Celcius it powers down ! and if you try to turn it on it flashes red or solid red but yeah my point is you can't use it if it;s too hot so just enjoy it and forget about the temp !

Yes you are correct otherguy the V1.6 and V1.6b do not report the temp correctly and it can be safely ignored !
