I got myself a new xbox, version 1.6, but I don't know if it's a 1.6 or 1.6B.

DuoX 2 com preflash with Evox m8, but i'd like to flash the bios with metoo's patched evox m8+ (live secure).

1. I use Evtool 1.0.9 and open the patched "Metoo-M8plus_16-06.bin" and save it by choosing the 512kb option.

2. I use the flashprogram that's included with the biosfile after editing the "boot.cfg" file

3. There are some EEPROM settings for version 1.0, 1.1 and 1.6. Do I need to change those values? etc, if I have 1.6 I delete 1.0 and 1.1

Can you guys help me and fill me in if I've missed anything with the flashing procedure. I also read that I have to boot the chip in non-protected mode by pushing in powerbutton a few sec while starting the xbox.

Well, I flashed my DuoX 2. Was kinda nervous, but I used Evolution X dashboard to program it. It worked fine, but I can't see any difference. I didn't edit the bios files anything. Just picked it it 256Kb version and then put in.
