Installed my aladdin xt boots games etc...... BUT cant turn dif modes on or off
cant turn the xbox it self on or off with out unpluggin it.... tried to flash bios not sure but htink has m8 not m8_16 but that wouldnt cause this prob would it?

Any info would help Ill be reading though the other posts lol

The bios will not cause the problems.
How did you connect the chip up?
I think you have damaged the 10K resistor where the BT point solders to. Thats why the power button does not work as it should.

If i unplug the mod chip xbox works great
If I damaged the 10K resistor wouldnt it happen regaurdless?

This is the 1st I have installed on a 1.6 but have installed many on others never had this problem.

How did you connect the chip up?

I hooked the chip up normally do bt l1 pionts to there respective places

rebuilt the lpc

all seems good rechecked soldering job etc all seems great exvept as long as chip plugged in power button no work.

guess ill order another chip see if same thing happens

I cant see nothing worng with the work
and works without chip plugged in fine

was just hoping to get some input before I shell out more money
