I just got my hands on the M8 Bios for the XBOX V1.6 and Installed a Aladin Adv + Modchip and EVERYTHING works great....I will be posting pics of it very soon

bugger ... config magic don't work on this version

booting with no chip active isn't working ...but considering this is my test xbox it's all good for now

Ok......Here's what I did...

I did use the LPC rebulid Pic....I used the SamrtXX one at the time...Even though the Xenium LPC Rebulid Pics looks better...

First thing I had to do was to install the Aladin on an Older Ver XBOX which I used a 1.5 and flashed the M8_16 to that chip...And I know in the readme it says to ONLY use that bios on a 1.6 but just for laughs I restarted the 1.5 XBOX with the M8_16 and it worked fine....

I then did my LPC Fix and installed the chip.....I did not find out just yet which points are the BT or L1...I will be doing this today....I just ran a regular On and Off Switch to the D0 (Lframe)....Works like a champ and all programs and apps and everything works great so far....

I will post some pics here in a sec and will post when I found which points are BT and L1

I have a question though, is the D0 point the same on a 1.6 as the others.. or is the LFrame now the D0 ??

And if the LFrame is the D0 on a 1.6.. can you put it straight to ground to make the Alad+ "always on" like the other versions ?

And Yes the LFRAME is the D0 and there is one on top and bottom...

But no its not the same as any other ver.......

I was glad to know it worked before I attempted it.

It worked for me! I just grounded my LFrame (D0) and didn't use the LED or button wires (I never do anyways).

The only problem is the M8 doesn't seem to support G: drive (or LBA48), so I can't use all of my 160GB hard drive. I guess that would make sense since the M8 has the same features as M7 and I know M7 doesn't support it either.
