use the XFlash software meant for the SST memory chip the aladdin uses. You can find a download of it here.

XFlash or Eurasia are indeed the best programs. Also remember to put the chip into flash enable mode by holding the power button

i read on one of the posts about flashing the aladdin, that you should try holding the power button down until both EVOX and the flashing program have finished loading.

what version of aladdin? it could also be an LPC solder issue. in that case even if you did hold the power button to flash (which could force it to work as I have seen in some tests where the aladdin was improperly installed) it is unstable and can go wrong midflash no matter what program you use.

I suggest you find out what version of the aladdin you have and then check your LPC.
