Fragging Ms Boot

I installed an aladin advance it works great.. but when i boot up normally (press it real fast)it frags out... any suggestions?

most likely you broke the connection between the top d0 and alternate d0, since the modchip is making connection to the top side it allows you to boot to the modchip but when the chip is off there is no connection coming from the alt d0 to allow it to boot normal.
