Do you think it will work as well as the X-ecuter 2 Lite, or do you think it will wrok as well as an X-ecuter 2 Lite with Pogo-Pins?

Will it cost less or more?

And any of you knows when it's coming out?

Why do you hate something which enables more people to get into the "scene"? Why do you hate "noobs"? Everyone starts out as a newbie.

Personally, I'm gonna go with a no solder option, but thanx for wanting that to be ruined for me and countless others.

Yes, exactly the reason.. if someone cant learn how to solder, then they shouldnt be doing this stuff.. come on, its not rocket science...

Apparently, Wargen doesn't know where the Mod Chip discussion forum is, or the right thread to post in.

Just trying to keep things from getting too wacky.

Seems like every day there's a "What's with this new Apricot 4.5 chip?" post.

The X2 Lite "Plus" probably deserves a thread of it's own, but for different reasons - but can't we play favorites.

- X2:Lite is is a good chip, although after Team Xectuer ridiculed the pogo pins from the matrix so much, I don't know why the heck they built this item. In addition v1.2 has moved the D0 point, so... the chip would be limited to certain XBOX versions.

Team Xectuer is just trying to cash in to the market... I don't understand why NOBODY understands this. They released the pictures to see how many people would be interested and judge the market.

- Xectuer 2:Pro is a fantastic chip, I'd totally recommend it to ANYBODY.

- Nasis X is a complete idiot... who tries to charge too much for a product and actually expects a large share of customers.

- Lastly the ALX2+ seems VERY appealing if the price is right.

I think Team Xecutor bowed to pressures to release a pogopin-based Lite and is jumping on it before the Chamelon comes out.

I think it's a very smart business decision, but they will undoubtably take flak for making the move.

Contrast this to Team Xodus' moves to promote their 256k mod chip's phantom 'advantages' over the X2 in their infamous 'comparison chart' and the Chameleon (where is it? what are the final features? What does it look like? can you even get a Matrix these days?).

Team Xodus (well, EB2K actually) gives away 25 Matrixes - great - but Team Xecutor ups the stakes by more than 10 TIMES that number (not just X-S's give awy... several other sites got X2s to give away as well).

As I've stated in the past, the Matrix is a nice chip, but while it's limitations are barely affecting users (like lack of Debug BIOS capability) at the moment.... that could change in a few weeks. The pogopins were a GREAT, CLEVER idea, whatever the potential flaws are; but GEEZ GUYS! Team Xodus rested on their laurels and then got tripped up when EB2lk stumbled. The Chameleon STILL has the feel of vaporware, but there's been PLENTY of time to get it to market (I think that's a bad sign, too).

So we see Team Xecutor make it's pre-emptive strike with the 'Plus' - not just some lame announcement with vague feature details, but HARDCORE PHOTOS OF THE PROTOTYPE!! You've got to give them props for sheer ruthlessness and professionalism in this latest move.

Yes. It was a good business move.

Im sure they will come out with a new pogo pin adapter for the new 1.2 boards. All in time.

In my opinion modchips goes from bad to worst,
as long as you are keep supporting a team like Xecuter,
that today says pogo pins are bad, and then they copy it...

ALWAYS remember that X2 series are HIGH VOLTAGE chips (5V),
and trying to aling it with your Xbox open is RISKY,
both for your personal health and for your Xbox life....

Ok, Matrix was 3.3V and it could leave some space for a wrong alignement or a misalignement,
but X2 and 5V chips???

Anyway, our theory sooner or later will prove to be the best,
because it is based on next generation of electronics,

Thanks ...

You just press it and it fits STEADILY!

You can even lift up your Xbox by holding it from X-elixis pcb ...
so there is no spce for misalignments!

Of course you can easilly remove it (if you like),
by cutting from the bottom side the pins,
but this is not really needed, as we use Plug&Hack tech for this perpose.
