Not strictly true, afaik there is a pc util (can't remember the name) and Linux can "dd" an image.

I ALWAYS use the search button: Here are some of the combo's I tried:

"image a hard disk"
"image a hard drive"
"image a hd"
"ghost a hard disk"
"ghost a hard drive
"ghost a hd"
"copy hard drive to hard drive"
"copy hard disk to hard disk"
"copy hd to hd"

This went on and on - so no need to be a pompas ass...

Ok... make it simple... just search for "Ghost".  You will get alot of Ghost Recon stuff but the info you need is also there.

One tip on searching... change the date range from the default (last 30 days) to any date.

No, I don't want to replace I want to make an image so I can make multiple identical drives... It looks like I will be able to achieve this with DiskPro Lite.

I'll post here again after I've finished...

By the way - WTF is it with people around here anyways??? I frequent and even admin at many boards on many different topics and I've never ran into so many people just waiting to call you a dumbass. I think my question was pretty straight forward, and only posted the question because my search bore no fruit...

It takes more time to drop a condescending post than to answer my question.

Thanks for the point in the right direction rjm2k!

Good luck! Tell me how it goes.

I know when I transfer files I have to transfer it xbox -> pc.
Replace the hard drive.
And then PC -> XBOX.
Using Evolution-X.

It's a pain in the butt and takes a lot of time. Hopefully your idea will work better.

Just curious, have you tried using FlashFXP to transfer from XBOX -> XBOX using your PC? FlashFXP lets you copy ftp -> ftp but the ftp server must support it. I don't know if Evolution-X has implemented Site -> Site transfer protocols yet.

main reason is weve had about 300 ppl ask wut the best chip is

about 200 ask how to install a new hdd

and about a billion ask wut a mod chip does

we get fed up with answering questions ever and over and over

really it does get iritating

xbox is one of the biggest scenes right now. a lot of newbies to go around

This subject has nothing to do with installing a hard drive, a mod chip, or any of the above.

It's a question on how you can clone a drive. Which actually is a legit question, that has been asked a good amount of times without any certain answer.
