Hi,

This is my very first post as I had just bought a XBOX on the weekend and I am hoping someone can help me out.

I want to get my XBOX modded and I called one place and they said that instead of putting a chip into the system, they will flash the BIOS for $120.00 (Canadian funds) or approx. $75.00 (U.S. funds).

Here are the questions I need answered:

1- Is this the best method to use to mod the XBOX?

2- Will I be able to burn my own games from ISO's released on the net from different groups if I choose to or will I be limited to a particular group or limited to just the burnt games he also sells?

3 - Am I better off to wait to get the Matrix chip?

4 - Is the flashing process reversable?

5 - Am I paying to much to get this done?

and finally!!

6 - I am from Ontario, CANADA and I am wondering if there is a place that someone can e-mail me about where I can look at other options? I am looking for a place fairly close to home as I live in the GTA area.

Get the matrix. It works flawlessly. Except for a few quirks in flashing the chip with the bios.

And yes Matrix Flash is totally Reversible and is cheaper.

As for me I got the 120 WD 7200 rpm hard drive, matrix and flashed it with EvoX 2.4 bios. I couldn't find the 2.5 at that time but it works perfect.

I tried to reverse it today and it worked perfectly with my original 8gb hard disk but was usless as I don't have any games. All of them are in the 120 gig.
