cONEction,
Fragmentation is *not* a problem on the xbox. Not even with a 100+ GB partiton w/60 games on it. Not even, if for some reason, you decided to delete 30 of those games and put 30 more on there every day. There would be no noticable performance degredation. If you're having problems with games freezing/crashing when you launch them from the HDD, it is again *not* from fragmentation. Unplug your network cable, the games will now work fine
What I would really like to see, is a version of the EvoX BIOS that will exit whatever program is running and start the dashboard when a certain combination of buttons is pressed. What can I say, I'm too lazy to get up and hit eject twice...
If that can't be done, maybe someone can look into how the eject button itself works. There must be some way to send the console a reset signal w/o having it eject the DVD tray. Yes, I know you can do it by momentarily changing video modes, but I regularly switch between the standard, advanced, and HD AV packs...so it is not practical for me to use this method. Plus it would be much cleaner to have one method that would work in all situations.
