you're not trying to modify it to read originals are you? I did remember seeing a diagram to make it perform as a normal drive minus reading originals though.

I also read a mod, wich usues the orig 605 bios, and works almost well, but i can't find it again.
I think that topic is closed... as well as the one with the diagramm...
So any other suggestions?

you are thinking of the SD616T or F drives. The SD616Q is not moddable to read originals. There are a few tutorials on the x-s tutorials page.

The mod works fine, but sometimes have tu push eject twice to open tray.
It plays everithing, except origs... Sorry for the s, the cntroller just loox fine..

Is it possible somehow to hack the bios of 616q to play origs?
Like zone free bioses?
Or just use the 605 bios? ( No! I killed a 616Q)

it is NOT possible to flash the 605 bios to the Q model, there is no way to make it play originals.
