Newsbin is the best newsgroup reader in my opinion.

I use Grabit. It works great for me with XP PRO.

good question....no you can't post anything with it. You can only grab stuff. It's not free but they have a evaluation copy and there are ways. I think Forte Agent is good for posting messages but I couldn't figure out how. I still don't know how to reply to a message, lol. I always post a REAL small file with my message. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this as it's not proper Newsgroup ettiquette.

...It also works GREAT with XP Pro.

i use grabit as well. it's really simple to set up and use. i had problems with the other newsreaders.

I've heard good thing about the ones listed above but havent tried them I use XNEWS and it works just fine for me no problems yet and you can post with it and its free.

I use NewsBin, and you can post with it easily....(maybe not the trial version, i dunno)

Uhhh. of course Grabit supports Yenc.. Those kinds of things should be a non-issue for any newsgroup reader these days (and transparent to the users).. if it is.. THEN SWITCH!
