hey thanks for the good words everyone.dano2k0 im a big fan of your work im glad you like my xbox smile.gif .
anyways heres some early progress pics
IPB Image
this was actually the hardest part to do i had to make a mold  so can fold my plexi with a heatgun.
IPB Image
there was the back plate which i had to fold then bonded together with plastic filler for car bumpers then sanded nice and smooth.
IPB Image
heres a back shot theres all the ports plus i have 2 usb ports and a wireless ethernet adapter too.
as you can see i still have a lot of work ahead of me but dont worry i will finish.
ll be back with some size comparison pics with the original xbox smile.gif

God I love this thing. That plexi side is just amazing, how did you get that made? Was it expensive? And by this I mean the side that has the black piece of plexi.

What width plexi is that that you used to make the case? 1/16?

i have a question can you tell me what type of pico psu that is and how you assembled it?

the plexi-glass is 3mm thick and it didnt cost that much, the only thing is i remade alot of parts over because i wasnt happy with early designs.before i had circles as vents now i have squares  and before both faceplates were the same but i changed and made vents on one side on top of the iceberqs for better cooling.everything was laser cut  and i got the xbox mini engraved by laser too using the xbox 360 font.

as for the power supply i got this  psu and i got the atx to xbox adapter from sickmods

Ghost, have you thought about putting your specs into production.  I am sure there is more than enough people willing to buy a custom case.  Just wondering.  Man that thing is f****** sweet,   cool.gif

I'd love to see a detailed writeup on what you did inside the case. I wouldn't want to copy it (not fair to you after all the elbow grease) but i sure would like to do something similar.

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE SEXIEST XBOX  I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!

I'm hardly ever compelled to post but sometimes you just have to show some love....

This is one that i would like to put together myself.....please make available all that you can i.e drawings etc, so we can....i think this might be the new slim....

Seriously though you could market these and they would sell, very easily....

Just thinking but if say apple or microsoft were to release a box that looked like that and did everything that XBMC could do i'm sure they would easily sell it for £400+

How much did that cost you to put together?

You should think about selling a kit. Maybe a few different options, such as:
-everything included (except mobo and hdd)
-no heatsinks
-no PSU or heatsinks

Get enough people commited to make it worth your while (and some money from them too)...
I'd buy one (if I can afford it..)

^ I second this. Absolutely fantastic job! How much has the whole thing set you back so far? Plexiglass might not be too expensive but what about laser cutting and such??
