so, i read everything about cleaning my DVD drive, but nothing workes so now im thinking about tweaking the POT but, my multimeter doesnt work on it, so... i ask, what is the POT is it just an adjustable resistor? and if so, can i desolder it and put in a set resistor that is like 1800 ohms or whatever i need? any help would be appreciated, thanx in advance
