QUOTE (M3ATW0D @ May 15 2004, 06:12 PM)
whoa now just because mt name looks new doesn't mean i am new, I've been doing this stuff for a little over 2 years, lol.  anyway the inverters do show throught, however the wires are hidden rather well and the inverters look like they belong because they fit so well.  As for the sheilding, NO PROBLEMS, but that my not be the case for all of you!  It can pick up interferance and that all depends on what and where is it placed.  The inverters are high quality and as you can see sit next to the IDE cable and they induce no interferance.  Just remeber just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for you.  The power is drawn off the molex on the HDD (look at the wiring diagram on page 2). it took me one day to do.
Once again I will be happy to answer any questions.
-Peace

Thanks again for all your answers..  and help....

The projector in my rooom is about 10-12 ft from the wall, makes about a 6-7ft disply.  it is only 800X600 res but works very well on s-video. I DON'T RECOMMEND RCA. It can go as far as 40ft away and make a 28ft display.  Mine is a DELL 2200MP.  I don't want to replace the LED's because when I turn the CC's off it looks stock and the front panel isn't distracting in the dark.  Personal preferance I guess. Thanks for the input though.

Could you post where you got your cc's and what the length of them were?

Thanks!

i took the shielding out of my halo box after seeing this thread and I got interference on my tv when I turn it on s-video.  the RCA AV is fine, but s-vid is a little snowy.

got all cc's from FrozenCPU they are 4" cc's
what is your xbox sitting next to? try moving it.  place a piece of tin foil underneath the xbox then set it on that, does this help?  Like I said just cuz it works for me it might not work for your.  Also I am using the s-video as well.

Where did you fit all 5 CC's?  I see and understand that you put the inverters behing the DVD drive and the HDD, but where did you pur the 5 CC's?  I think I see one on each side of the case, next to the power supply and one next to the mod chip, but where exactly are the other 3.  Were you able to fit one inbetween the top of the HDD and the case?  Or maybe one above the controller ports? Thanks for your reply.
