it's pretty easy actually... take some raw cat 5 and solder the to pins on the back up the port in the xbox then in one of the ports in the hub... to power it figure out what voltage the hub is expecting. if it's 12 or 5 just solder some wires from a 12 or 5 volt source and  then into the pins of the power connector... if it happens to be something odd like 9volts  you'll have to use a transformer to step up from 5 or down from 12.  I'd suggest you put a cat 5 plug end with no wire into the port you have hard wired so you dont accidentially use it... and if you want to get all fancy you could put a switch to cut the power to the hub and just use the regular strait port on the xbox...
