Hey Mr. Slim, I've got a couple of questions if you dont mind me asking.

1. I was curious about the window you made on the Mountain Dew box. After you cut it, did you just sand it down real well and wash it? The reason i ask is i noticed the inside of the window (where it was cut) is nice and smooth and still has the perfect matching green color. Didnt know if you had to repaint it or if it was just the color of the lid itself.

2. What did you use to "fasten" the jewel down to the lid of the Playboy box? I've tried a few methods in the past but it's hard to do if your using a clear jewel and not have any adhesives or hot glue show under the jewel.

Hey all

I made a custom xbox myself too.
This was my first mod ever.
And since i am only 15 years old i am very happy with it   .

It has a modchip installed.
a 120 GB harddrive with the evo-x dash and XBMC of cource.

This was my first mod that i have done, especially with led's etc.
So thanks for the good comments .
I am happy with it  

And yeah, when it is on the whole ceiling is blue   .
I can make some pictures tonight when it is dark and put it on the forum is you like.

I used in total 72 Blue 800Mcd Leds.

And wednesday in the afternoon i get my xbox 360 with error 79.
If i can fix that one i am planning to mod that too.
But then more complicated, with plexi, leds, open dvd drive and paint.
Can't wait to start.
If i have started with that xbox i will make a post and keep you up to date

Sure, take your time, go slow. Make sure all the cuts are nice and that everything fits together perfect before you paint. When you paint, keep in mind that the paint job is only as good as the tape job (if you do that).
Use a dremel for the best results. Good luck man, post some pics.

Here's my latest project Xbox, it's not so much about being unique as much as it is about being able to afford all the stuff I wanted to do when I was a broke 15 year old.
