I care not about the noise level as I have a Dolby 5.1 system installed!

dude, those temps are the same as without your mod. not trying to insult you or anything...

I dont think you understand -> this mod was just suppose to get rid of the noisy GPUfan.. And so I needed to make sure that my mod would stay inside a reasonable temp-range (and it did :o  ;) )

As promised, the temp-readings from my Xbox after 5 straight hours of Halo-gaming cool.gif  (I must admit I'm rather pleased myself tongue.gif )

CPU = 63 degrees celcius / 145.4 degrees fahrenheit
MB = 47 degrees celcius / 116.6 degrees fahrenheit

dude, those temps are the same as without your mod.  not trying to insult you or anything...

Damn that's hilarious. Don't you understand that's the whole idea, to keep the temperatures the same but have the unit make less noise..

LMFAO....

you're so dumb its not even funny, it doesnt monitor the fuckin gpu heat anyways, it would be the same if he just fuckin unplugged the goddamned gpu fan.

I can see your point FIREitUP - the only real way to tell if the GPU is overheating, would be to see the little sucker go up into smoke wink.gif  Guess I just got lucky tongue.gif
(but still - you don't think an overheated GPU would affect anyone of the 2 temp-probes?)

sure it would. the xbox would power off after some time because the heat limit (i think 85°C) is reached. just did the same some weeks ago and my box runs smooth biggrin.gif

Hey JaXbox is your machine still running well? I am going to be doing your mod in a couple of days time, and I'm also going to be adding a 80mm Papst quiet fan out the back of the Xbox, and upgrading the thermal compounds. Looking forward to it!!!!
