I can see your point FIREitUP - the only real way to tell if the GPU is overheating, would be to see the little sucker go up into smoke

sure it would. the xbox would power off after some time because the heat limit (i think 85°C) is reached. just did the same some weeks ago and my box runs smooth

i used a aluminium heatsink from an athlon thunderbird cpu. it's bigger than yours but the temps are nearly the same

Well my box is noisy but I get 35C on the motherboard and 40-45C on the cpu after several hours of soul calibur.

Hey JaXbox is your machine still running well? I am going to be doing your mod in a couple of days time, and I'm also going to be adding a 80mm Papst quiet fan out the back of the Xbox, and upgrading the thermal compounds. Looking forward to it!!!!
