i took one of my games, and i extracted it properly to an ISO. To avoid burning more physical disks and to avoid putting another drive in the xbox, i wanted to take advantage of my server's drive. i put the iso on the server and shared it out. i tried to connect the softmodded xbox to the share to see if it would run the game from the iso, and couldnt figure it out.
then i tried from xbmc.. no luck.

then i copied the iso locally since it was kinda small.. i put it in e:\games. unleashX 's config.xml had a setting that said it should look there, but from the main menu, i click 'games', and it doesnt see any games..

what am i doing wrong?

You can play ISO files that are stored locally with a softmodded xbox if you have nkpatcher and virtual cd tools. But it's probably a lot easer for you to just extract the xISO.
