Help Ea Backups Will Only Play In Widescreen Mode

Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I have only noticed this happening when playing backups of certain EA sports games. Madden does it and so does Fight Night round 3.  When the actual match  starts the top and bottom of my screen are cut off and its all black as if its trying to display in widescreen format. This never happens when I play an original only certain EA backups. Im currently running the Ndure softmod with EvoX. I've tried looking for something to change in the evox.ini file but nothing seams to do the trick. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
