Hdd Oddities

Hi, I have 2 xbox's. One a 1.0 and the other a 1.5.

I tsop'd the 1.0 with a switch, and the 1.5 has a standard tsop flash. Well, I have been trying to upgrade the 1.5's HDD, without success. When I insert the 200gb drive (the stock drive is unlocked for sure), the xbox does not boot. At first, I thought the drive was dead. So, I put it in my PC and it seemed to be fine.

So, I then put it into my 1.0 xbox and booted evox off a disk. I was able to partition the drive and all was well. I have only installed evox on the C partition (which doesn't really matter at all). The drive works fine in the 1.0 box. But, When I put it back into the 1.5, the drive would still not boot up at all. The xbox hangs at the iND bios "loading" screen (the hdd does have the config). I don't hear the drive spinning or trying to read at all. It is as if there is no power. The original drive does boot.

Has anyone experienced this? A drive booting and working fine in one xbox, but a paper weight on another?
