Fxp-transfer Slow
« on: June 17, 2005, 01:11:00 AM »

Modded my cousins Xbox, and now I'm transferring all my stuff to his box. I'm using FlashFXP to transfer the data from xbox to xbox. I'm using XBMC's filezillas on both ends (both versions no older that two weeks).

I'm getting now transfer rates like 700kB/s, although I have 100Mb/s connection here. FTP-transfers from PC to both Boxes (and vice versa) , I'm gettin normal ~8 Mbit/s, but FXP transfers sucks.

I've modded the filezilla.xml configs on both ends:

1

1

1

1

I've tried in FXP to use PASV mode and not to use PASV mode, but no progress whatsoever (the log screen shows that it always go to PASV mode). I'm not using any software firewalls.

I tried SmartFTP as well, and and no progress. I guess I just have totransfer all to my PC and then to the other Box. Where the do I get 120Gigs of free space? Shit.

And You're using Avalaunch on both ends? What about the settings, boost modes etc.? I'm getting the same results now with Avalaunch + XBMC combo.. Hmm..
