Cdrw Burning
« on: May 11, 2005, 04:08:00 AM »

I've burnt a few cdrw's in the past, but recently not had to so I forgot exactly what I should do.

I use craxtion to make the iso and then nero to burn the image, which i do in the same way as I do with a dvd-r. I open the iso then on the burn complication dialog box, I tick the write & finalize CD, I switch write speed down to the lowest, which with these discs is set at x4.

Now, write method, track at once?
buffer underrun, tick that box?

I'm using the same brand of discs, maxell cd-rw 80 700MB, which I've used before. Just now it doesn't work. At first I assumed the app or homebrew was dodgy, now after several attempts with different software, i'm getting the same outcome.

btw if the app is very small, I've added a dummy.dat file of about 200MB

I've checked the forums and can't find exactly what I need to know so if you can give me a couple of pointers, thanks!
