Here's my input.
Burner source- TDK +/- dual format (Awesome unit)
Media- Memorex +/- DVDr's
- Imation +/- DVDr's
No problems with this setup, just the user using the wrong $@%! format.....
Thanks for the thread.....

Burner:
Pioneer DVR-106D

XBOX Drive:
Philips

Software / Routine:
XBcopy

Craxtion 3
nero 6

Media that works:
Datawrite Grey DVD-R 4x,

DVD writer: Pioneer DVR-A06U/106D
DVD-R Media: AN32 4x (fairly generic stuff, e3Works branded)
Xbox DVD Drive: Samsung

Software method:
FlashFXP from DVD to HD
Create dummy file
Create ISO using Qwix
Burn with Nero 6

Successful so far @ 4x.

dvd burner-lg 4040b super multi drive
burning software-nero

thomson drive
plays memorex dvd+r,pine dvd-r, sometimes memorex cd-rw they are kinda flakey
doesn't play- cdrs

samsung drive
plays:pine dvd-r,memorex cd-r, memorex cd-rw
doesn't play: memorex dvd+r

I use the pines mainly they go on sale alot and i am a cheap man. One note about them they don't like to play if there are fingerprints on them. I got a spindle of 25 this week at futureshop for $29.99 which is an excellent price here in canada. So if you are cheap like me and take care of your dvds choose these.

Burner: HP DVD200j 2.4x

DVD Drive: Thompson

Software: Nero Burning Rom 6.3.0.0

Media That Works:
Fujifilm DVD+R (8 out of 10 works)
Memorex DVD+RW (10 out of 10 works)

Media That Dont Work or Less Chance of Working
Phillips DVD+R (1 out of 10)

could anyone tell me the reason why my Fujifilm DVD+R works most of the time and sometimes it doesnt? is it because of Nero that im using and i need to use RecordNow Max? Thanks

Xbox Drive - Thompson

1. DVD-RW Drive - Pioneer 106
2. Media that works please list - or + - Only tried Memorex DVD-R
3. Media that doesnt please list - or + - ...
4. List speed if possible - I've burned all games at 1x, because I don't want no stinkin' coasters.

I use Nero 5.5.10.42
