Burning A Data Cd And Copying The Files To The Box
« on: December 13, 2003, 08:15:00 PM »

hey guys, i got a problem with ftp speed to my buddies box, and i was wondering if i could just burn the files and folders from the game onto a data cdrw and put it in the xbox and transfer them to his box via boxplorer or xtoolbox to the game folder and have it arranged just like the games on my HDD looks, i tried this but the box will not recongize the disc, is there a similar way i could do this, i dont have a dvd burner to make them into iso's so i need to do it this way or wait a couple days for one huge game to transfer via FTP.
thanks

Yes, but you have to find CD-RW media that the box will read, and you have to burn the CD in UDF format.
